Portion of the Rehoboth boardwalk was closed off. Apparently they were working on replacing the wood decking.
One of the many places to grab a sandwich while hanging out at the beach.
This was a store front in Lewes Deleware. We went there to look around the quaint shops they have. This was a nice reminder that spring is/was here.
Ahh, Thrasher's Fries; nobody can come to the beach without getting a tub! Unfortunately they weren't open just yet.
And here we have the beach & boardwalk rules for Rehoboth.
A little taste of Britan here at the Go Fish, fish & chip shop. I love thier door!
Anyone who's familiar with east coast beaches has had Dolles infamous Salt Water Taffy. Need a cheap gift for the gang you left behind to come to the beach, this is it!
Typical seaside souvenir shop and all the junk you can remember your trip with. I do like the Cowboys helmet in the window!
Early morning on the boardwalk, this was early April so there weren't many people out and about yet, although it was pretty warm for this time of year.
Wanted to get an old time feel with this one so I gave it the B&W treatment.
Here is of course the color version!
Nuther shot of the empty boardwalk. Far up in the distance you can see two people taking a stroll.
These benches line the edge of the boardwalk. They are built so you can turn the back to either face the water during the day or the boardwalk at night. I like this shot, they seem to go on forever.
